New Nanny Register – COMING SOON 2025

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of the National Nanny Association’s New Nanny Register – a comprehensive, trusted registry of professional nannies who meet our highest standards. We understand that finding the perfect nanny for your family is crucial, and with our new register, we’re raising the bar to ensure families across the country can connect with reliable, well-qualified childcare professionals.

What Makes the New Nanny Register Special?

Each nanny listed in the register will have gone through a rigorous vetting process to meet all the association’s professional criteria. We carefully select nannies who have proven their commitment to providing safe, nurturing, and high-quality care.

Nannies on the register will meet the following requirements:

Minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification:

All nannies on our register have at least a Level 3 qualification in childcare, demonstrating their expertise and dedication to fostering child development.

Enhanced DBS Check:

Each nanny has undergone an enhanced DBS check, so you can rest assured that they have a clear criminal record and have been fully assessed.

Paediatric First Aid Certification:

Registered nannies are trained in paediatric first aid, giving them the skills to handle any medical situation calmly and effectively.

Food Safety Qualification:

Our registered nannies know the importance of hygiene and safe food handling, ensuring your child’s health is always a top priority.

Nanny Insurance:

With comprehensive nanny insurance, registered nannies are fully covered, bringing families extra peace of mind.
Safeguarding Training: Safety is at the heart of our values. Registered nannies are trained in safeguarding to recognize and respond to any child safety concerns appropriately.

Minimum Six Months’ Practical Experience:

Every nanny on our register has at least six months of practical experience working directly with a family, demonstrating their reliability and skill in a home environment.

A Personal Touch in Our Vetting Process

To be listed on the National Nanny Association’s New Nanny Register, each nanny undergoes a personal interview conducted by a key member of our team, such as our Member Liaison, Vice Chair, or Chair of the association. This interview allows us to personally assess each candidate’s commitment to childcare excellence, their values, and their professionalism.
